This kit comes with everything you need to hand embroider your pet! If you are new to hand embroidery, this has all you need to get started. While there are no instructions on how to embroider, I include directions on the basic stitches that can be used to complete your pattern. The two basic stitches are satin stitch (for filling in areas) and a back stitch to outline and add the details. Some include a french knot but that is dependent upon the detail needed to make your pattern look like your pet. These three stitches are beginner friendly and the stitch guide has written instructions as well as links to my video tutorials.
This kit includes a canvas zip pouch with the following:
+ 6" hoop
+ piece of fabric
+ stick and stitch pattern with your pet portrait
+ black embroidery floss
+ embroidery floss bobbin
+ needle
+ needle threader
+ mini scissors
+ seam ripper
+ and mini tape measure
How it works:
1. Place your order. Be sure to select what color zipper pouch you would like. The supplies inside are various colors and selected at random.
2. Email me at jess@blackberrycloverstudios.com a few photos or your pet with the subject line "(YOUR NAME) custom pet kit. Best portrait outcomes will come from images that are in focus and have good/ natural lighting (don't have harsh highlights or shadows).
3. I will then draw your pet and send you a proof before printing it and shipping it your way :)
Want an extra pet? No problem! I can add another pet without you needing to buy a whole other kit. Simply select that option from the drop down menu. Please note you will simply get an extra pet printed on stick and stitch. You will not get extra supplies. If you would like extra supplies, please send me a message or order a second kit.
